RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USAGE AND STORAGE OF ADHESIVE TAPE
For the sake of dependable and firm adhesion between tape and surface it is important to follow some rules:
✔ the packaging with tape should be done in a warm building
✔ the tape should be agglutinated only on a dry surface cleared from dust, dirt and fat
✔ while agglutinating it is necessary to ensure sufficient and uniform pressure on the surface
✔ it is not advisable to apply the adhesive tape at a temperature below +10°С
✔ the adhesive tape should be stored in the temperature range +5°С to +30°С and at relative air humidity 40% to 80%
✔ if the temperature regime of adhesive tape storage and transportation changes by ±5°С, it should be placed in a building, where the agglutination will be done, for 12 hours in order to prevent the condensate formation
✔ if the adhesive tape is stored at a subfreezing temperature, it should be placed in a building, where the agglutination will be done, for 24 hours to make the adhesive layer defrost
✔ it is necessary to start and end the applying of adhesive tape on a box from end faces with allowance equal to 5 cm. The maximum adhesion to cardboard is achieved in 24 hours
✔ the packaging adhesive tape should be stored in dry, clean and closed spaces without foreign smell and direct sunlight. The distance to heaters should not exceed 1m.
